She was subsequently salvaged, cleaned of most of the river filth, and placed in storage for a time before she was put up for sale in June 2010, when I bought the boat after finding an advertisement online.
This project is no longer active, the boat was taken away, and this site is no longer updated, though it will remain online for posterity. But now awaiting her proper christening under a new name. Wednesday, May 21, 2014. I had the honor to once again emcee the 2014 Kansas Society of Professional Engineers, Wichita Chapter Awards program on May 15. The dinner and awards program was held at the Courtyard by Marriott in Old Town Wichita. The awards program every year recognizes engineers, teachers, special citizens and engineering achievements within the Wichita Chapter that deserve recognition among their peers in the industry.
